Met on arrival and after a Karibu Kenya welcome ceremony, we drive to Four Points by Sheraton. Check-in, freshen up and then after breakfast, we drive to the Giraffe Centre where we hand-feed the tallest animal. Later we pass by Kazuri, which means 'Small and Beautiful' in Swahili. Kazuri is famous for handcrafted beads made from clay sourced from Mount Kenya. Kazuri is unique as they only employ single mothers and widows. We then break for lunch. After lunch, we take a guided walking tour of downtown Nairobi with a visit to the Masai Market for some souvenirs and trinkets for family and friends back home. Dinner at Nairobi’s Best Veg. Specialty Restaurant. Back to Four Points by Sheraton for the night. (B, L, D)

After breakfast, transfer to Wilson airstrip, arriving by noon in time for lunch. Post-lunch, some time to relax, stretch or take an afternoon siesta before we step out for an evening game drive. Head back before the hyenas begin their nocturnal walks. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge. (B, L, D)

A full day’s game drive with a picnic lunch in the bush. Today we cover a large area of the Reserve right from the Mara River and along the Migration Route, right up to the Tanzanian border. Back before it gets dark for dinner and overnight at our Mara Simba Lodge. (B, L, D)

Pace yourself today with an early morning 0630 a.m. game drive or we set out on another full day’s game drive. This is when the predators are hungry, and you are most likely to see a kill. Beat the ‘jua kali’ (hot sun) with a dip in the pool. By this evening’s game drive, you will have seen and spotted the BIG 5, along with the Small 5, the Shy 5, and the Ugly 5, along with a wide range of rare animals and birds that are unique to Africa. A feeling of belonging to the beautiful Savannah grows as we head back for dinner and overnight stay at Mara Simba Lodge. (B, L, D)

After breakfast, transfer to Ol Kiombo airstrip for our flight to Mombasa. A 2-hour flight that connects us to the coastal town of Mombasa. Met on arrival at Moi International Airport and transfer to Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort. Arrive in time for check-in and lunch at the resort. Post-lunch we head out for an adventurous guided tour of Mombasa city. Our excursion showcases some of the key sites, such as the vibrant fruit and vegetable market which gives a glimpse into local life, the historic Old Town with its charming narrow streets, Fort Jesus – a museum rich in East African history and a popular tourist spot, and the bustling old harbor. Back for dinner and night at Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa. (B, L, D)

After breakfast we drive along Nkrumah Road and through the Old Town streets as you head to the vibrant Swahili spice market. Taste and learn about local spices like cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and turmeric. It’s a flavorful journey into the heart of Mombasa’s culture and heritage. Post-lunch enjoy a relaxing dhow cruise along the stunning Mombasa coastline. Feel the gentle sea breeze as you sail on traditional wooden boats. Watch the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky with warm colors. It’s the perfect way to unwind and soak in the beauty of the Indian Ocean.
